NEET 2019 Result: National Testing Agency (NTA) will be responsible for declaring the result of the National Eligibility Entrance Test abbreviated as NEET 2019. The result will be announced on 5th June, 2019 only via online mode on the official website of NTA i.e. Applicants can check the result using their credential generated at the time of NEET 2019 Registration. The result will be available in the form of a scorecard. The scorecard will display category-wise All India Rank, overall marks, subject wise marks, percentile, and the cutoff score. The conducting authority will also prepare the merit list after updating the NEET 2019 Result containing the names of all the qualified aspirants.
NEET 2019 exam will be held on 5th May, 2019 in computer-based mode (online mode). Applicants who qualify the exam will be further called to attend the counselling. At the time of counselling, the candidate will be allotted seat in near around 65,000 MBBS and 25,000 BDS in medical and dental institutes across the country.
Important Points
· Through the NEET Result 2019, qualified candidates can apply for admission in any medical institutions across the country except for AIIMS and JIPMER. This is because they conduct their own entrance exams for granting admission.
· Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will use the result for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) admission and 85% will be used for State Quota admission.
· There is no provision of re-checking or re-evaluating the NEET 2019 Result.
Steps to check and download NEET 2019 Result
Candidates have to follow some simple steps in order to check and download the NEET
Result 2019. These steps are briefly prescribed below:
1. Go to the official website of NTA (https://ntaneet.nic.in/)
2. Then click on the “NEET 2019 Result” link.
3. Enter all the required details such as roll number, registration number, and date of birth.
4. Now click on the “Submit” tab to submit all the above-mentioned details.
5. The result will appear on the screen
6. Check this result and download it.
7. Also, take a printout of the result for future use.

NEET 2019 Result - Tie-Breaking Criteria
There are chances when two or more applicants obtain the same marks in the result of NEET 2019. In such a case the tie-breaking criteria are used in the following preference:
• Candidates having higher marks in Biology are preferred
• If the tie remains then the candidate with higher marks in Chemistry is given the preference
• If the tie still exists, the candidate with less number of wrong questions is preferred.
• And if the still continues, then the older age candidates are given the preference.
NEET 2019 Merit List
NTA will prepare centralized NEET 2019 merit list soon after the declaration of result. This list will contain names of all the qualified applicants. However, the merit list will be prepared for seats under 15% AIQ. The states will prepare their own merit list on the basis of All India Rank and category of the candidate. Thus there are two types of merit lists. NEET Merit List 2019 will be published on the official website. Applicants can check the merit list using their credentials.
NEET 2019 Cutoff
Applicants must meet the cutoff of NEET 2019 as prescribed by the exam conducting body. The cutoff is the minimum marks required by an individual to qualify the entrance examination. NTA will release the cutoff according to the different category of candidates. Futher, aspirants are invited to attend the counselling only if they satisfy the prescribed cutoff. The authority considers a number of factors while preparing the NEET 2019 cutoff. These factors are as follows:
• The total number of candidates appearing for NEET 2019 examination.
• The difficulty level of an exam
• The total number of available seats for admission
NEET 2019 Counselling
National Testing Agency will organize the NEET 2019 counselling for candidates who satisfy the prescribed cutoff. At the time of counselling, candidates will be allotted seats for admission in MBBS/BDS programs. There are approximately 9000 seats available for admission. If candidates fail to participate in the NEET Counselling 2019 then they will face rejection. Thus, it is a must for the qualified aspirant to attend the counselling in order to obtain a seat for admission.
